No more bags under the eyes – for a bright and fresh look

Bags under the eyes make the face look tired and worn out, even when you feel fit. Targeted treatment can help make your eyes appear fresher and more youthful in the long term. Learn how to sustainably rejuvenate your eye area.
Unfortunately, Filler (hyaluronic acid) or Botox There is no lasting improvement there. Since the skin on the lower eyelid is very thin, one should also be careful with fillers. Visible nodules (granulomas) can develop there, which are difficult to remove. Surgery is necessary. A band of connective tissue, the so-called tear trough, marked here with arrows, separates the fat of the eye socket from the cheekbone. Because the band is very strong, the fat of the eye socket bulges forward against the skin, which then gives way. The whole thing then looks like an "eye bag." This tear bag makes you look tired, sad, and somewhat "worn out."
We penetrate the conjunctiva of the eye into the fatty layer and open this connective tissue band from the inside. The existing fat in the eye socket is spread over the cheekbone. With this technique, we achieve two things: First, the transition between the eye socket and the cheekbone no longer appears so harsh, but looks like it did in youth, when there was no visible boundary between the eye and the cheekbone. And second, the bags under the eyes disappear. If there are any excess wrinkles on the lower eyelid, these can also be removed. The final result appears natural and not artificial.
Lower eyelid surgery, like facelifts, should only be performed by experienced plastic surgeons who are particularly familiar with the specific technique. Thanks to our special surgical method through the conjunctiva of the eye, the risk of a drooping lower eyelid (ectropion) is very low.
