Before the procedure, it is important that you are not taking any blood-thinning medications and avoid alcohol and nicotine to promote the healing process. We will also review your medical history together to rule out any possible contraindications.
Breast augmentation is usually performed under general anesthesia. The procedure is carried out in two steps: First, fat is removed through a Liposuction (fat removal) It is taken from a suitable body region and processed. The purified fatty tissue is then injected into the breast to achieve natural enlargement and shaping.
After treatment, you should wear special compression garments for a few weeks to support healing. During the first few weeks, you should rest and avoid certain activities. Avoid exercise or saunas for six weeks. We offer regular follow-up appointments to monitor the healing process.
Breast augmentation with autologous fat is considered a particularly gentle procedure. Acute complications are extremely rare. However, as with any surgical procedure, certain risks exist, including bleeding, infection, or impaired wound healing. Temporary swelling or uneven fat absorption may occur. The operation usually has to be repeated to achieve greater volume, as only a limited amount of fat can be injected in one procedure. Healing in the breast area may be slower for smokers.
