A breast lift (mastopexy) is a surgical procedure that tightens sagging breast tissue and restores breast shape. This treatment is especially suitable for women whose breasts have lost shape and firmness due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss, or age-related changes. Possible existing asymmetries can also be corrected. With years of experience in breast surgery and state-of-the-art techniques, we offer you the highest quality care tailored to your individual needs.

Before the procedure, it is important that you are not taking any blood-thinning medications and avoid alcohol and nicotine to promote the healing process. We will also review your medical history together to rule out any possible contraindications.
Excess skin is removed, the breast tissue is reshaped, and the nipple position is adjusted harmoniously. The areola is usually slightly reduced in size. Rarely, small tubes (drains) are inserted to drain the wound fluid. A bra is then applied. The surgery is performed under a brief general anesthetic and lasts approximately one to two hours, depending on the technique.
Immediately after surgery, a special support bra provides support and aids healing. For the first few days, the breasts often feel tight. The stitches dissolve on their own. Initially, the scars are firm and slightly red, but fade over time. Light activity can be resumed after just a few days. Sports activities and heavy lifting should be avoided for about six weeks. Swelling may persist for up to 12 weeks, and the breasts are often tender to the touch during this phase. The final shape and size are achieved after about three months, and the scars fade significantly after about six months.
Acute complications are very rare. However, as with any surgical procedure, there are risks such as bleeding, infection, or impaired wound healing. In some cases, nipple sensitivity or numbness may occur. These changes usually subside over time, but in rare cases, they can be permanent. Occasionally, the ability to breastfeed may be impaired. We will discuss the exact risks in detail during the consultation.
We would be happy to discuss the costs in a personal consultation.
