Depending on the procedure, a facelift is usually performed under general anesthesia (less often under local anesthesia) and takes between two and five hours. While a traditional facelift involves deeper tissue layers, a mini facelift is a less invasive alternative with a shorter recovery time.
A recovery period of two to three weeks is typical after surgery. No bandage is necessary. Swelling subsides within a few weeks. The final results are visible after a few weeks.

I had a facelift and eye surgery with Prof. Fansa in Zurich. I was bothered by my sagging cheeks, neck, and drooping eyelids; I really looked older than I felt.
