Duration: 1 hour
Anesthesia: local anesthesia or general anesthesia
Stay: outpatient
Aftercare: Rest, follow-up checks
Able to work: after about 1 – 2 weeks
Some skin folds between the penis and scrotum can make the penis appear shorter or restrict its mobility. With a small, gentle procedure, we can remove these folds, allowing the natural contour to become more prominent and the overall appearance to appear more harmonious.
Gentle modeling for an aesthetic, proportional shape of the intimate area
Before the procedure, we will discuss your individual wishes and explain the procedure to you. Schedule your appointment. online or under T +41 44 397 38 60.
Before treatment, you will be informed about all necessary preparatory measures, including behavioral guidelines to follow before and after treatment. This includes avoiding certain medications or foods that could interfere with the healing process.
The procedure is performed under local or brief general anesthesia. The surgeon selectively releases the skin fold between the penis and scrotum and reshapes the tissue using a local flap, usually in the form of a Z-plasty. This technique allows for tension-free wound healing and ensures an aesthetically pleasing result. Drains to drain wound fluid are usually not required.
After surgery, the wound may be tight and slightly painful for a few days. A simple adhesive bandage is sufficient to cover it. Initially, the scars will be firm and slightly red, but they will fade over time. For optimal healing, we recommend tight-fitting but non-constricting underwear that prevents excessive sweating. Boxer shorts are less suitable as they allow too much movement. Normal daily activities can usually be resumed after a few days, but swelling can persist for up to eight weeks. Sexual intercourse should be avoided for the first four to six weeks to avoid disrupting the healing process.
Complications are rare, but as with any surgical procedure, certain risks exist. These include bleeding, infection, and impaired wound healing. Irregular scarring may also occur, especially if the wound is subjected to excessive movement. Careful aftercare and adherence to medical recommendations help minimize these risks.
We would be happy to discuss the individual costs in a personal consultation and answer all your questions. Here to make an appointment.
