Botulinum toxin is one of the most effective methods for reducing facial wrinkles. Expression lines such as forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet are caused by repetitive muscle movements. Targeted treatment with botulinum toxin (Botox) gently relaxes the muscles and reduces wrinkles. Our highly qualified specialists use state-of-the-art techniques to achieve safe, aesthetically harmonious results – individually tailored to your needs and according to the highest medical standards. The result: a fresh, relaxed, and youthful appearance with minimal downtime.
What is botulinum toxin?
Botulinum toxin, better known as Botox, is a well-researched medication that has been proven effective for decades in the treatment of expression lines. It specifically blocks the signal transmission between nerves and muscles, causing the treated muscles to relax. This smoothes existing wrinkles and slows the formation of new ones.

The Botox treatment takes only a few minutes. Using a fine needle, the botulinum toxin is injected into the affected muscles. The effect begins after about ten to fourteen days and lasts approximately three to six months.
After treatment, slight redness or swelling may occur, which will subside quickly. It is recommended to avoid strenuous physical activity, saunas, and strong facial movements for 24 hours.
Botox is a safe and well-tolerated treatment when performed by experienced specialists. Possible side effects are rare, including temporary redness, slight swelling and bruising, or a slight feeling of pressure at the injection sites. In very rare cases, an asymmetric effect may occur, but this can be corrected with a follow-up treatment.
The costs depend on the treated areas and the amount of Botox required. You will receive an individual price overview during your consultation. Here to make an appointment
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
What is botulinum toxin and how does it work?
Botulinum toxin, commonly known as Botox, is a naturally occurring protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. In aesthetic medicine, it is used in purified form to temporarily block signal transmission between nerves and muscles. By injecting Botox into specific facial muscles, they relax, leading to the smoothing of expression lines such as forehead wrinkles, frown lines, and crow's feet. The effect is temporary and typically lasts between three and six months.
