PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma / Vampire Lift) autologous blood therapy is a natural, regenerative treatment that uses your own blood to improve the appearance of your skin. PRP therapy uses growth factors from your own blood to stimulate cell renewal and regenerate tissue. This innovative method is particularly suitable for wrinkle reduction, skin tightening, and the treatment of hair loss. Our surgeons at Zurich Plastic Surgery are happy to provide you with individualized advice and perform the treatment in a medically safe environment.
What is PRP?
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) autologous blood therapy uses the healing properties of your own blood to stimulate skin regeneration and promote hair growth. The concentrated growth factors in the plasma activate collagen production, reduce fine wrinkles, and improve skin texture. PRP can also promote hair growth in cases of hair loss.

Blood sampling: A small amount of blood is taken from the arm vein
Plasma extraction: The PRP is separated from the blood using a special centrifuge.
Injection: The concentrated plasma is injected into the skin or scalp using fine needles
The treatment takes about 60 to 90 minutes in total and is almost painless.
After the PRP treatment, slight redness or swelling may occur, which will subside within a few hours to a few days. Makeup, sauna visits, and direct sunlight should be avoided for the first 24 to 48 hours.
Because PRP is derived from the body's own blood, allergic reactions or intolerances are rare. However, slight swelling, redness, or bruising may temporarily occur at the injection site.
The cost of a PRP treatment varies depending on the treatment area and the number of sessions. A personalized consultation will provide you with more detailed information. Here to make an appointment.
